NatureStream.tv is designed to create an uplifting and stress reducing environment in homes, offices & medical facilities. Professor Dacher Keltner, an expert in the science of emotion at the University of California, Berkeley, has published a study which concludes that even short engagement with nature films leads to significant increases in positive emotions. This study found substantial decreases in emotions such as nervousness, anxiety, fear, stress & tiredness. “I have long believed that viewing sublime & beautiful nature in painting, film and video shifts how we look at the world, and humbles us, brings into focus our core goals, diminishes the petty voice of the self & strengthens our nervous system,” says Keltner, who has published numerous studies on the psychological and physiological effects of nature-inspired awe.
